The Tennessee House Democrats fight every day to make Tennessee a place where all citizens have a real shot at the American Dream. We are for affordable healthcare for all citizens right now. We are for protecting Medicare always and giving seniors the option of affordable in-home care.
We are for strong, well-funded public schools, including colleges and universities that are truly affordable for every single citizen. We are for using every means possible to generate high paying jobs that can support Tennessee’s families, including a $15.00 minimum wage. We are for equal pay for women and a workplace free of harassment. We are reforming the criminal justice system to ensure that it justly protect and serves all families. We are for a healthy, clean environment. We believe that these policies, which we work toward every day, will ensure a just and prosperous state in which all citizens can reach their highest potential.
